Sigur Rós is a widely acclaimed, ethereal and often symphonic "post-rock" band from Iceland. Though they have never been to Duluth, the band shares some kinship with many of our fair city's residents. They recorded an album of Viking songs with Steindór Andersen; they have played with Low; and in interviews have referred to the "western" Icelanders of Manitoba and surrounding areas. Therefore, a screening of their new film - which premiered at the Venice Film Festival before screening in hundreds of cities around the world - is particularly appropriate for an event celebrating the restoration of Enger Tower.

Please be advised – strobe lighting and flashing images are used during Sigur Rós’ live performance footage
