Welcome to the Enger Park Restoration Website!
Thank you for visiting our site. We hope that here you may find more information about our community project, how to become a sponsor,
donate, and help take action in our cause.
This is a defined moment in time in which every person who contributes to the Enger Park project will be able to take pride in what WE have accomplished.
The time is now; the moment is here. We want Enger Park to be the shining beacon upon the hill that will speak to the strength and character of our community. It's amazing what Duluthians can accomplish if we come together for this historic occasion and devote time, energy and resources to breathe new life into Enger Park in 2011.
Enger Park History:
Built in 1939, Enger Tower, a 5 story structure constructed of national Blue Stone taken from this region, stands guard from the top of the Duluth skyline. Looking out over the Duluth Harbor and the St. Louis Bay, the green beacon mounted at the very top of the western Duluth hillside brings it to 531' above the level of Lake Superior. (Read more...)
Duluth hosted a re-dedication ceremony for Enger Tower in October with the expected visit from King Harald of Norway. (Read more...)
